MESSAGE FROM THE ARTIST

Thanks to everyone who made it out to one or all of the past week full of shows. It was so nice to play to full audiences at every event.

Monday night at the AfterThought was packed for the John Burnette Band. Wednesday's Jazz in the Park had a great crowd of 250+ and believe it or not, I had an amazing time playing despite the sweltering heat we faced at 5:30.

The Mercer's did their thing with Charlotte Taylor at the Laman Library for their Live @ Laman concert series...so much fun.<--I'll keep you updated to let you know when the show will be aired on KUAR early next month.

Friday night at Dave's Place made for an interesting jam with 3 tenor saxes, 2 guitars and a bass guitar. You never really know who will show up to sit in.

To round out the week I got to play a 50th wedding anniversary with Little Joe & The BK's Saturday night. Good times.

Be sure to check out some live music this week somewhere. Bob Dorough is playing the AfterThought Monday night 8pm. Adam's Collins at Jazz in the Park Wednesday evening 5:30pm. Dave's Place weekly Jazz Jam Friday night 6:30pm.
